A BREW FOR UKRAINE!
Water Your Freedom is the result of a collaboration between Dois Corvos and Pravda, a Ukrainian brewery. With this New England IPA brewed in Marvila, we are nurturing freedom. How? Check below.
For every liter of Water Your Freedom that you drink, Dois Corvos will donate €1 to help buy ambulances equipped with essential first-aid supplies, to be used in Ukraine (more about this fundraiser here). Together, we are taking action to nourish a better tomorrow. Raise a glass, be a part of this!
A highly aromatic New England IPA, thanks to the three hop varieties it was made with: Talus, Simcoe and Citra. A clenched fist would not be enough to contain the amount of flavors that, with each sip, you will find in it.
Pravda came to Lisbon at the end of summer and Scott and Yuri, brewers from Dois Corvos and Pravda, got together to come up with a great recipe. In the meantime, we talked about what it's like to be Ukrainian nowadays, and of how we, from the other end of Europe, could help - concretely - and with what we have. We tried to find out more about the history and culture of the country of our new friends, to give the label to the manifesto and the manifesto to the label. The name of the beer is inspired by a poem from Taras Shevchenko - a cornerstone of Ukrainian literature. We created, we brewed, we canned. And so, one of the most meaningful and proud collabs in the vast repertoire of Dois Corvos flourished.
