Brewer
Dois Corvos is seeking a Brewer to join the team. This position will perform tasks associated with brewing, cellaring, and packaging operating, including operating the bottling and kegging lines, cellar operations, warehouse organization, cleaning tasks and general maintenance. Job candidates should be eager to learn about all aspects of brewery and packaging operations. It is essential to be self-directed, proactive, and help where needed.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Brewing/wort production
- Monitor aspects of fermentation, yeast health
- Centrifugation/clarification
- Contribute to recipe development/pilot brews
- Daily collection of samples in tanks for lab, yeast handling
- Clean, configure, and run bottling machine & labeler
- Operate Keg Washer/Filler
- Ensure Quality Assurance/Quality Control is of the highest standards

Maintain records and inventories associated with packaged products, and report re-order needs
- Move beer between tanks & perform CIP (clean in place) of tanks
- Maintain cleanliness of brewery
- Accountable for personal safety and for those around
- Participate in sensory evaluation of beers
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working in a production brewery or IBD diploma preferred

Mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team setting and also independently
- A positive attitude and calm logical approach to daily tasks and unexpected challenges
- Other skills related to beer, such as sensory training, microbiology degree, mechanical engineering, or other beverage experience are a plus

Production Assistant
Dois Corvos is seeking a Production Assistant to join the team. This position will be primarily accountable for performing tasks associated with operating the bottling and kegging lines, keg cleaning, cellar operations, warehouse organization, cleaning tasks and general maintenance. Job candidates should be eager to learn about all aspects of brewery and packaging operations. The ability to be self-directed, multi-task, and help where needed is essential.
Team members are expected to perform the following duties:
- Clean, configure, and run canning and bottling machines & labeler
- Operate keg cleaner/filler
- Operate centrifuge
- Prepare raw ingredients for brews
- Keep a close eye on quality in all aspects of job
- Maintain records and inventories associated with packaged products using on-line system, and report re-ordering needs
- Operate centrifuge
- Perform CIP (clean in place) of tanks
- Maintain cleanliness of brewery
- Accountable for personal safety and for those around
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Interest in craft beer
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting and also independently
- Ability to be agile and lift or move 25kg, work on feet for entire shift
- A positive attitude and calm approach to daily tasks and unexpected challenges
- Basic English language skills
